Ad campaign LA PERLA Collection CréateurIt's no secret that one of my favorite fashion momentos in history was the indescribable fashion forward cone bra bustier created by Jean Paul Gaultier for Madonna's Blonde Ambition Tour. 20 years have passed and this outstanding French designer is now returning to lingerie land with his latest exclusive collaboration with LA PERLA, "... the pearl of the lingerie" as Gaultier likes to call it.
His intimate story with underwear has been a distinct creative approach of Gaultier's work. He uses it as outwear in his collections and now he accepted the challenge to design lingerie in its more traditional sense.
"Lingerie is part of my DNA and of my heritage" - Jean Paul Gaultier. We all can see that! And we love him for that. This special collaboration is called "Collection Créateur" and will be available in November in selected boutiques. Two special limited edition garments were already presented on July 7th in Paris during the Jean Paul Gaultier FW 2010/11 Haute Couture show.
